Performance has ‘unleashed the beast’ this year at PRI with their new torque converter. The Go-Rilla converter is a new line of converters designed for those pushing horsepower numbers well into the four digit area; as these converters are designed to take power into the
3,000 hp range. Designed to fit the popular Turbo 400 and Powerglide transmissions, this converter can handle the power and with a name like Go-Rilla could you really argue?
Also being shown in the J.W. Performance booth was their new 4L60E Torque Converter. This converter is built in house at J.W. in a ten-inch model that works well for the strip and the street. This is because of the available 3400 rpm stall, Torrington bearings, furnaced brazed fins and a chrome moly neck cap off this converter.
