More news from the Pits

Houston Texas native Joe Huneycutt made the long haul this weekend along with many other Texas based teams. Huneycutt’s car suffered transmission issue these past two days but believes he has them sorted out heading into round two of qualifying. The team has kept the same combination as last season which consists of a 403 Cubic inch N/A engine. Joe is looking to be a top contender in the LSX All Motor class by the end of the weekend.

Jim Filipowski ran some great numbers in testing yesterday but slowed by a few tenths today in qualifying. Jim still holds the number two spot but is looking to better his performance. The team claims to have much more power but is working on the right combination to manage the power. The teams engine is 400 Cubic Inch backed by 101mm Turbo Set up. The team has been in the 7.40’s and is looking to better this weekend.
