Dynotech Engineering is a leading driveshaft manufacturer for teams competing in NASCAR, NHRA, IHRA, NMRA and SCORE. Dynotech can build a driveshaft for any automotive application and had two of their new custom built driveshafts on display at PRI, one for street and one for serious strip action.
Their 3.5 inch driveshaft is made from 6061-T6 aluminum and is good to 900-1000 horsepower. The unit is perfect for all classes of racing and it’s a great alternative to steel or weak OEM units. The aluminum one piece driveshaft is a great way to improve drivetrain strength and reduce rotating weight.
For the Big Dogs, Dynotech’s displayed a 3-3.5" chromemoly pro mod driveshaft rated to 2500-3000 horsepower. The chromemoly units are made heat treated and built using automated tube welders at Dynotech’s Troy, Michigan production facility. All Dynotech driveshafts are balanced to less than 0.20 oz-in and the have they have the capability to balance a shaft up to 8,000 RPMs.
