Just about anyone seeking their high performance fix can find what they desire within mail order catalogs. When the owner of this spotless 2001 Sunset Orange Metallic SS Camaro wanted to take his car from mild to wild street machine, he decided a 900+ horsepower capable D1SC Procharger was right for him. With the help of supporting modifications, clean, seamless installs and attention to detail this Camaro is one perfect example of a badass street car.

Starting off with a low-production vehicle (only 1,380 Sunset Orange Metallic 2001 Camaro's were produced) the owner wanted to make it even more unique from the rest. First up on the build was a fully forged short-block from
Exotic Performance Plus filled with
Diamond pistons and
Compstar rods. Performing the task of removing the spent air/fuel mixture is a set of 1 7/8" longtube headers, off-road Y-pipe and an all-
Magnaflow setup from the cat-back with a set of cool exhaust tips.
Handling the suspension work is an
Eibach ProKit,
Koni shocks, a
Hotchkis strut tower brace and many other top-notch components. As with any high-horsepower ride you've got to be able to stop it, this SS is rolling on some
Baer drilled and slotted brake rotors. Tying everything together in the engine department is a fully custom tune from Steve at
Tuned By Frost.
With all that in mind the car has many personal custom touches to it as well, from the carbon fiber-backed gauges, carbon fiber accenting all around, and even an autograph from GM's Scott Settlemeyer under the hood - a key person in F-body development over the years. T tops, a slick rare factory paint job, Supercharged small block under the hood and some meaty 315's out back, if badass Chevy street car was in the dictionary, you'd find this car in there!
