Be Cool LS Specific Radiators and Cool Juice

LS Swap Radiators

In the quest to make LS engine swapping easier amongst various chassis, Be Cool has a line of radiators specifically designed for LS engines; they even have different diameter in/outlets for the various generation needs. If you happen to have an automatic swap, the radiators also come with a built in transmission cooler. Be Cool offers their radiators in polished and natural finishes.

Be Cool also offers their radiators in a “module” package that includes 400-1000 horsepower applications. Be Cool sizes different radiator cores to different CFM fans to put together the best possible cooling system dependent on the power levels.

Be Cool, Cool Juice

Cool Juice is a biodegradable coolant that will last 300,000 miles, even though your other supporting components may not! Be Cool also adds sealing additives to the mix to help seal small cracks while also controlling heat. Also, if you use Cool Juice with your Be Cool radiator, it will double the life of your radiator’s warrantee.

Check Out www.becool.com for more information.

RAM Hydraulic Clutch Release Bearings

A lot of modern-day muscle cars use hydraulic release bearing; they help simplify your drivetrain. The problem with the factory units comes with the inability to adjust them and the lack of travel. The RAM replacement bearing triples the throw length and also makes the release and engagement reaction quicker. The OEM replacements are a direct fitment for S197 and all LS applications, but RAM also offers a universal bearing depending on your transmission that can be adapted to a wide variety of applications.

www.ramclutches.com has more information on their release bearings.

Weldon Racing 1100 Flow Through Fuel Pump

If you are pushing the limits of your engine, one of the major reasons it can fail is fuel starvation. Weldon Racing Products has come up with a way to prevent this. Their new 1100 Flow Through fuel pump is designed for use with engines making 1200 horsepower and beyond. While this pump is capable of 148 gallons an hour at 45 psi, (That’s enough power to pull fuel straight up for over 15 feet of tubing) Jim Craig of Weldon assured me that this remains a quiet pump.

The pump is very friendly and would work very well with both EFI and carbureted vehicles. The really nice part is, due to the amount of power this pump can produce, it doesn’t even have to be mounted below the fuel tank; making it extremely easy to find a place to mount it.

Check out www.weldonracing.com for more information.

AJE's "Must Kit" Makes Upgrading Your Stang To LSX Power Easy

There were plenty of must see part this year at PRI, but there was only one "Must Kit". AJE Racing introduced The Must Kit that allows you to mount any engine into your 1979-2004 Mustang, as well as upgrading the front suspension components can easily be done in one job. The thing that makes this part the Must Kit, is the fact that when they say the kit fits a Fox and SN95 Stangs, they mean the same part. That’s right, now ordering can be easy because, not only is it one part that includes many different model years, but that same kit also includes AJE Racing’s all new A-Arms that can be ordered in two different sizes.

The real interesting part of the kit is the way it incorporates the engine mounts to the upgraded K-Member. This design was use to incorporate the mounting of AJE’s CNCed engine mounts that are predrilled for a variety of engines. So if you looking at installing like an all new LSX block in your Mustang, this kit is the "Must Kit" to get it done.

Head on over to ajeracing.com for more info on this kit.

Jesel’s Budget Belt Drive and Solid Roller Lifters

Budget Belt Drive System

If you have the money to put into your motor, a belt drive system is the way to go; they make it easier to adjust timing and rob less power then a chain drive system. Jesel has released a belt drive system that uses the majority of their high-end belt drive system components, just now with a cheaper, one-piece cam pulley. So that means that the lower gear, belt, adaptor plate, and hardware all remain the same.

The one-piece pulley adjusts by loosing the mounting bolt, pulling the gear towards you, turn, and lock back into position. There is a taper on the pulley so you won’t loose position on your cam timing, and will probably have to remove your water pump to adjust.

New Economy Solid Roller Lifters

Jesel’s high-end roller lifters are multi-piece in design and are engineered for upper level racing. They have now released a cheaper, solid roller lifter that is constructed of a solid steel body that is slightly heavier then their high-end applications. The bodies are heat treated and then polished.

What does carry over is their proven wheel technology. The tie bar is made from tool steel and are all made in tall style. The lifters are made to fit most traditional domestic applications, such as big and small Ford, Chevy, and Chrysler.

Check out http://www.jesel.com for more information.

TRZ Torque Arm for 3-4th Generation Camaro

An aftermarket torque arm is a must for any F-body owner when it comes to harnessing the maximum amount of power to your rear tires. TRZ has completed their rear suspension line with the addition of their new torque arm for Camaros. What you see in the picture is a first run, unpainted piece.

The torque arm is made from 1.25” chromoly tubing and 3/16ths brackets. It is adjustable all the way from the cross member mount back to the rear end. TRZ designed their torque arm to be used with cars running anything from 11-second to 7-second quarter mile times and have three different lengths depending on how quick your combination is. They also have the ability to make custom lengths in 1-inch increments.

Weld RT Series Wheels

Weld is back to making wheels with their recent purchase by a group of racers. Also, Weld acquired American Racing Wheels and will be producing additional wheels under that line. One of their newest wheels produced under the new ownership is their RT Series wheel.

This three-piece wheel is designed for street as well as full racing applications, and the 5000 series shell is SAE compliant while only weighing about a pound more than their full race wheels. The RT is offered in different looks, but is unique when it comes to the clearance on the back of the spokes. Weld has designed back cut spokes that help with additional rear caliper clearance, especially in S197 and F-body applications. Finish will come in a black anodized center or full polish with the possibility of 17 and 18-inch wheels being put into production.

Crane Cams LS3/L92 Ultra Pro Shaft Mount Rockers

Now this is a hardcore racing part straight from the Crane Cams factory. The rockers are made from investment cast tool steel and weigh virtually nothing. The lightweight rockers allow your engine to run more RPM. Don’t be fooled by the design; Crane claims that their rockers can handle up to .800 lift and 1200 PSI of spring pressure. The shaft doesn’t run on a center bearing due to its oiling system design that uses the engine oil to lube the shafts. Additional features include offset or straight rockers, push rod adjuster, and various center bore heights to eliminate the need for shimming. Believe it or not, these rockers are bolt in and require no machining.
