Doug's Headers and Patriot Exhaust

At SEMA, Doug’s Headers displayed their headers for some cars that you might not find anywhere else - a true find. Every Doug’s Header comes with all the necessary mounting hardware, collector reducers or connector pipes, premium gaskets, and detailed installation instruction sheets. Their extra thick gaskets are rated up to 1100-degrees, pressures to 3,700 psi, and are designed for an exact port match with their headers. In terms of applications, they make something for everything -- from first gen Camaros with LS engines or Big Blocks, to headers for 2000-02 Camaros and 05-07 Mustangs



Patriot Exhaust Varaflow


Patroit Exhaust was also at SEMA with their newest product, the Patriot Varaflow -- a muffler has a four inch case with a 2 ½ inlet and outlet. The neat part is you can control the opening of the valve inside to adjust the sound. Its not just open or closed, you can stop it and move it back at anytime. If you are wondering if this is going to fit in your car, you just need to leave room for the eighteen inch exhaust to slide under your body.

1998-2002 F-Body LS1 Motor Mount Set

These polyurethane LS1 motor mounts were re-engineered to outlast and out perform the stock OEM rubber mounts. It is not as stiff as a solid mounts, nor is it as soft as the rubber mounts so what you get is a torque resistant feel that goes well in a street car or daily driver as well. This mount is an OEM replacement and comes with all necessary hardware to install it.

Hawk Performance's HPS Brake Pads

Brake pads are a crucial, but often unsung hero in many race applications. Most people concentrate on speed or cornering ability rather than their ability to stop. Hawk Performance came to SEMA with a new series of brake pads which can help even the highest performing cars come to a complete stop thanks to their unique engineering - HPS.

AFCO Low Friction Bushings and Ball Joints

AFCO has a new line of bushings for 1966-1992 Camaros. “The whole idea is low friction, so shocks and springs can do their work”, Bill Floyd from AFCO explained. Low friction bushings, regardless of application, will allow the suspension to operate as it was designed to, and they work hand in hand with AFCO's newlow friction ball joints that use a polished ball and socket. AFCO claims that you need less than 2 pounds of resistance to move the ball joints. The ball joints come pre-greased and are easily serviceable.

SPEC adds LSX engines to Multi-Disc Lineup

Ever wanted a clutch that can handle 1800 foot-pounds, and also be drivable? Well, SPEC now adds the LS platforms to their twin-disc family. The face of the kit starts with a lightweight, billet pressure plate. “The more surface area on the clutches, the more streetable the clutches are”, explained David Norton from SPEC. The twin discs are then offered in varying stages, starting from least to most aggressive:

• Fiber
• Puck Style
• Carbon Full Face
• Centered Iron

The kit is fully rebuildable and upgradeable. The total weight of the twin-disc kit is 25 pounds, 11 pounds of that is the flywheel. This is significantly lighter then a conventional steel pressure plate, single disc clutch.

New Header Bolt Kits for LS Engines
