In 2002, Pontiac only made a limited number of 302 sunset orange metallic (SOM) Trans Am WS6 6-speed cars. It’s a rare color, so it is not common to see this color around, let alone in good shape. Stock, the car produces 325hp with a 5.7 LS1 engine through a six speed transmission. The owner over at
LS1.com has a super clean 1 of 302 SOM Trans Am’s that is absolutely flawless.

On the outside the car looks almost stock except the chrome 19”
CCW wheels that really make the car. The paint is perfect, with the metal flake it just pops in the sun. On the back half the car is running a
Corsa catback exhaust system. There is a lot of chrome on the car including the Calipers, suspension parts as well as the driveshaft that was hand polished by the owner.
Don’t think this car is all show and no go. The car is still running exhaust manifolds and not long tube headers because it’s lowered, and they worry about it hitting. A 90mm throttle body with a custom nitrous wet plate system was installed giving this SOM Trans Am horsepower on demand. The Nitrous bottle is all chrome and sits in the middle of the two back seats.
This car is so clean even under the chassis you will most likely see your reflection in it. The car has been to many car shows wining first place at nearly every event. The Beautiful Trans am has been showcased in various car enthusiast magazines and as well as being on displayed in
Summit Racing’s part store window. I challenge you to find a cleaner more put together show Trans Am than this one. With a car that is this clean and well taken car of I don’t think the owner will be letting go of it anytime soon.
