When it comes to muscle cars and their big displacement motors, there is no better way of complementing them than with a couple of turbo's.
The guys over at
Speed Inc are known for pumping some pretty insane cars out of their shop. This time they have really gone over the top to create a very discrete but lethal machine.

The newest masterpiece is an ultra sleek twin turbo 2000 Pontiac Firehawk sleeper. The beast makes 1,150 at the wheels! The Firehawk was shipped from North Carolina to Illinois so Speed Inc could do their magic and build a custom twin turbo fire breathing street car.
The heart of the set up is a 427ci LSX Engine built by
HKE including
ETP’s LS7 Heads and a hydraulic roller camshaft. The intake is from
GMPP that is a single plane that is modified for stage injection. The turbo system starts with some 6.0L truck exhaust manifolds, twin
Precision 67mm turbo’s, a huge air to air intercooler,
Tial 44mm wastegates, and a well designed dual exhaust all the way to the rear bumper. The Drivetrain is beefed up as well.
G-force T-56 transmission,
Dennys MMC 3.5 Driveshaft,
Mcleod twin disc clutch, 9” rear and with 3.25 rear gear.
The brains of the operations consisted of a
Big Stuff 3 Engine management system in conjunction with staged injection and dual fuel systems. This allows much flexibility when you want to run a different octane fuel. This car is primarily running off 93 octane fuel, but switches to a 93/116 mix when injectors reach a duty cycle of 80%. This is great if you just want to run 93 octane on the street. Then on the weekend add some race gas you won’t have to worry about the tune, the computer will compensate for that.
