Americans love choices. We like choices in our food, our houses, our clothing, and our cars. Especially our cars. Too often it seems like manufacturers turn a tin ear towards Americans demands for cars, but one stellar exception is the new Camaro. GM listened to the people and the car stayed very true to the concept, helping it become an overnight sales success (for a second time).
But we don’t just want choices for our cars; we want choices for our collectible cars too. Right now
ChevyMall is running a contest where you can cast your vote for the color of the next die cast collectible Camaro they make.

Right now the current die cast Camaro model can be had in one of three standard colors: red, black, or silver. But the next color will be an official color from the Camaro lineup. This includes Imperial Blue Metallic, Synergy Green, and Summit White as available options. The modes range in scope from 1:24 scale size to the bigger 1:18 scale.
With almost 8,000 votes cast thus far, there is a clear front runner with Inferno Orange Metallic taking over 54% of the votes. Imperial Blue Metallic is a distant second place with 13% of the votes, followed by Cyber Gray Metallic with just 10%. The least popular choices are Victory Red and Red Jewel Tintcoat, probably because there is already a red die cast Camaro offered. You can still cast your vote, though at this point, it looks like Inferno Orange has this contest locked down.
