WD-40 Camaro Sprays The Competiton with their 2010 Camaro

One car we were excited to see was the WD-40/SEMA Cares Camaro. We did a few news features on the building of this car leading up to the show, and boy did it live up to everything we thought it would be. Street Scene Equipment, APE Wraps and Cars by Kris put together a killer car that has something for everyone.

First up, the exterior is a new body kit from Street Scene Equipment. This kit added just the right amount of flair to the modern Camaro and was paired with a custom pant done by L&G Enterprises.

On the rear of the car, the DynoMax Ultra Flo mufflers can be found in the center on the rear bumper. The kit is dressed in WD-40 color scheme that continues on to the Forgeline DE3S wheels with just a hint of red. These are wrapped in Nitto’s popular NT05 tires. The custom caliper covers were done by MGP Caliper Covers.

Under the hood is a Paxton NOVI high-output supercharger that help to push the internally stock LS3 to over 600 horsepower. Complementing the Paxton is the brand new headers from Headman Headers, which were developed on this car. Behind them is a full stainless steel DynoMax exhaust that, as mentioned, exits out the center of the rear bumper.

On the inside, a new full custom leather interior with the WD-40 logo embroidered on them was done by Katzkin. The sound system is Point Source speakers from Eclipse with a digital subwoofer and 4-channel amplifier are also from Eclipse.

Even a PS3 found it’s way into the trunk of the car with all the electrical power being supplied by a Odyssey high-power battery.

All of the trick parts aside, this car will go on to better things when it is auctioned off at the Barrett-Jackson Classic Car Show and Auction this coming January. The proceeds with be going to Childhelp, an organization that provides services to abused and neglected children and the Victory Junction Gang Camp, who provides life-changing camping experiences for special needs and chronically ill children.
